Hi, I’m Josh. I am a photographer and visual designer from Indiana, currently studying Journalism at Northwestern University.

Much of my design background is in print editorial design and visual identity, though I am interested in how journalism, human centered design, data, and technology intersect. I am a firm believer that content drives design, whether that content is a user need or piece of journalism.

My photography explores the range of experiences Asian Americans hold — especially how Asian Americans negotiate identities of race, sexuality, and gender.
