Hi, I’m Josh. I am a visual designer and photographer from Indiana, most previously a news design intern at The Washington Post, where I designed for print, digital, and social media. I also study journalism and Asian American studies at Northwestern University.

I’m always open for freelance work. Having experience in journalism, marketing, and UX, I find myself coming back to telling stories about people, first and foremost.

My photography explores the idea of possibility in the everyday. In my images, I am interested in exploring identity, place, and memory and “feeling queerness” (José Muñoz) through the mundane and familiar.
